swimIQ

Terms and Conditions of our Programmes

Parents/guardians who apply for swimIQ's school-pool programmes do so on the following T & C's.
On acceptance into our classes all participants' parent/guardian are bound by the swimIQ T & C's.

Bookings
Spaces are limited – first accepted and paid will be booked. Reserve a space by making the full payment for a Term (10-weeks). Payment is processed securely, online through a third-party payment processor (Stripe).
Your upfront payment for 10 classes secures your child’s place in the programme. Consult with Lauren Boyle at swimiq.contact@gmail.com ahead of joining if you are unsure about the right level. Lessons are non-transferable and must be used within the Term.

Cancellations
Refunds are not provided if you're unable to attend a class. A make-up lesson is not guaranteed, but swimIQ will try to accommodate you (for up to 2 make-up lessons in the Term). Use this parent portal to request/book a make-up lesson.
If lessons cannot go ahead due to unsatisfactory pool conditions (eg water temp too low) or sickness of instructor swimIQ will notify you and make a refund at the pro rata value of that lesson.
Pool Safety
School rules to be observed at all times. Pool safety is paramount. The pool gate must be kept closed at all times.
No lifeguard on duty for these classes: all participants are under the supervision of swimIQ for the duration of the lesson. swimIQ participants may not enter the pool area well before or stay after swimIQ classes.
Students may attend only for their scheduled lesson, and must exit the pool after their lesson completes.
Parents or guardians are responsible for their own swimmers before and after swimIQ classes. No student may be left unattended for later pick up.
Attire: swimmers must wear swimsuits. Caps recommended. Please bring goggles. The outdoor pool is heated. The water is warm enough for most swimmers. Some may prefer to wear a wetsuit for classes.
Sun safety: bring adequate sun protection, including sunblock.
Students use the nominated lane(s) only.
