Beginner

If your child is just starting their swimming journey book Beginner. Some Beginners will not yet be comfortable submerging and some may have been using floaties for support. This class focuses on building confidence in the water. Swimmers will learn to blow bubbles, submerge, float on front and back and start kicking and stroking with support.

Intermediate 2

Book Intermediate 2 classes if your swimmer can swim freestyle strokes for 15-20 metres and is developing their breathing. Lessons cover freestyle breathing technique, backstroke, and kicking. These classes focus on bilateral breathing and extending freestyle distance to 25 metres. Swimmers will also start to learn tumble turns and breaststroke.

Advanced Beginner

Book Advanced Beginner classes if your swimmer is confident submerging, can float independently and swim 3 to 5 freestyle strokes. Swimmers will kick in different planes, refine their rolling front to back and extend freestyle stroking.

Advanced

If your swimmer can comfortably swim 25 metres freestyle with relaxed bilateral breathing and has started building endurance, then book for Advanced. Lessons focus on increasing distance capability in both freestyle and backstroke. We also cover underwater kicking, tumble turns, butterfly and breaststroke.

Intermediate 1

Book these classes if your swimmer can swim freestyle strokes for around 10 metres and hasn’t yet learned to bilaterally breathe through the strokes. Intermediate 1 focuses on freestyle and backstroke stroking and foundations of breathing in freestyle.

Super Advanced

Book Super Advanced classes if your swimmer can comfortably swim three 25-metre laps freestyle, non-stop. These lessons focus on increasing distance capability, refining their freestyle technique, as well as building abilities in other strokes.
Coaching for this class is usually from poolside.
